Red Bag With Complicated Closure- Part 3

The finished bag...

...drying in the cool Rocky Mountain air...

...and modeled by the charming and delightful, Buff Palm.

During felting, the wool yarn and pre-felt bits...

...'melt' into the body of the bag.

                                                          The bag interior...

                                                            ...with pocket.

The combination of a short loop (on one side of the bag)...

...and a long loop on the other...

                                             ...combine to form a 'complicated'...

...and secure closure for this bag.

That's a great success - a lovely vibrant pattern, and an interesting closure.

Thanks, Rachel! I'd like to make another one sometime with a much longer 'long' strap...for over the shoulder wear.

I love that closure. At last it's cool enough here for me to get back to felting. You remain a great inspiration!
